Our mission

At Psimonix, our mission is to bridge the gap between the mental realm of thoughts and the material world of the brain. We are dedicated to unlocking the secrets of human cognition and consciousness by investigating how thoughts MATTER within the intricate interplay of mind and matter. Psimonix believes it is important to enhance the mind-body connection to empower our human experience and well-being, thus enriching our society. Our approach provides a scientific method to better understand this connection through the brain signals detected by the Electroencephalogram (EEG). Our break through research reveals the psychophysiology of the hormone cortisol and the EEG.

Our decade of R&D brings you PsiSense, the pioneer service that screens hormone levels instantly and non-invasively from the EEG.

Krishna Gandhi’s pursuit of understanding the brain’s electrical activity in terms of the EEG began in 2000. In 2004, Krishna began by providing EEG related services such as neurofeedback training and was sub-contracted for numerous neuro-marketing projects to design, conduct experiments, analyse the data and to report the outcomes. Results from quantitative EEG analysis of the acquired data determined the marketing strategies of multinational plc clients.

Having seen multiple EEGs, a clear pattern was identified with stressed individuals and the EEG signals. In the pursuit of quantifying the signals to test the relationship with stress, it was discovered that signals could also map to the biomarker of stress; cortisol.

Ultimately the research aims to shed light on the most outstanding riddle of the mind and brain relationship, also referred to as consciousness.
